Danny Abramowicz 1969

Danny Abramowicz was a 17th round pick in 1967 and was actually cut from the team. He confronted head coach Tom Fears and convinced him to give him another chance.
Danny went on to not only make the team, but lead the Saints nearly every season he was a Saint.
He lead the NFL in 1969 with 73 catches and was named All-Pro.
