An up-close look at the line of scrimmage during game play against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Archie Manning backpedals into the backfield as we see the right side of the New Orleans Saints Offense. From left to right we have receiver Ike Harris (#82) alongside tight end Henry Childs (#82). The next 2 Saints are probably tackle Robert Woods (#61) and guard Dave Lafary (#64).
In this particular game against the Steelers Archie Manning passed for 344 yards and a touchdown in a 21-14 loss at Three Rivers Stadium during the 1978 NFL season.

I've been following the Saints since a kid in the 70s watching the likes of Archie Manning and Tommy Myers.
We may not have as grandiose a history as some NFL teams, but there are scores of memories the New Orleans Saints have given to their fans and I have done my best to record them here at New Orleans Saints History.
