New Orleans Saints Defense in 1998!
One thing the Saints had going for them was a pass rushing defense that ended up with 47 sacks on the year. By the end of the year they tied an NFL record for the most consecutive games with a sack. The week 12 game against the 49ers not only had 3 sacks but was the 60th straight game that the Saints recorded a sack tying a record set by Washington (set from 1984 to 1987).
In the picture above, Saint linebackers Kevin Mitchell (on left) and Keith Mitchell (right) combine for a drop of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Chris Chandler. All in all the Saints defense tallied 4 sacks on the day.
