John Tice | New Orleans Saints Tight End 1983-1992

A third round draft pick from Maryland in 1983 John Tice fit perfectly in Jim Mora’s ball-control offense that saw the Saints make a string of playoff appearances in the late 80s and early 90s. Primarily a blocking tight end he played 10 seasons in New Orleans and is still #4 for All-Time receptions and among Saints Tight-Ends in team history. He is also the #5 Tight-End for both All-Time receiving touchdowns and receiving yardage.  He played with the Saints until 1993.

In the above picture from 1986, Tice is out in front of runningback Dalton Hillard lead blocking.
