Coupled with a talented defense led by the likes of Sammy Knight, La' Roi Glover and Darren Howard, this team showed so much potential that some NFL experts were predicting Super Bowl. Unfortunately, it was just the opposite. Despite an 18 point comeback against the St. Louis Rams and a revenge-fueled domination of the Minnesota Vikings, this season would be a year marked by mistakes and inconsistencies.
