Saints Pass Rusher Don Reese puts the heat on Eagles Quarterback Ron Jaworski

From the 1979 meeting between the Saints and Eagle sin the Dome that year. Defensive end Don Reese puts the heat on Philadelphia signal-caller Ron Jaworski. The Saints did manage a couple sacks on Jaworski that game but fell 14-26 in the end. Reese, a former 1st-round draft pick of the Dolphins in 1974, had joined the Saints the year before to help strengthen the pass rush. Individual sack stata weren’t kept in 1979 but unofficially Reese had 12 sacks on the year. The Saints defense as a whole ended the year with 46.
