Highlight Video of the 1967 New Orleans Saints

Found this really cool highlights video of the 1967 New Orleans Saints. It has color footage of the Saints first ever victory over Philadelphia, Dave Wihtsell and his 10 inteceptions, Danny Abramowicz coming out game against Pittsburgh and a whole lot more. Well worth a look if you enjoy film footage the days of “Old School” NFL.
The Saints finished with a 3-11 record in 1967, which back then, wasn’t bad for an NFL team. Keep in mind, those where the days before salary caps and huge free agent contracts. An expansion team began with the cast-offs of other teams.

Big Thanks to Shark Throwback for this rare New Orleans Saints Video from 1967, the first year the New Orleans Saints took to the field in the NFL.

I've been following the Saints since a kid in the 70s watching the likes of Archie Manning and Tommy Myers.
We may not have as grandiose a history as some NFL teams, but there are scores of memories the New Orleans Saints have given to their fans and I have done my best to record them here at New Orleans Saints History.
