Saints receiver Eric Martin makes a catch in the 1988 week 10 game against the Washington Redskins. Martin had a total of 10 catches that day for 146 yards and a score. The Redskins would pull out a 27-24 win on a 4th quarter Chip Lohmiller field goal. Despite the loss New Orleans would end the season with a 10-6 record but failed to make the playoffs. Martin ended up 4th in the league with 85 catches and 9th with 1083 yards. His numbers were good enough to make the Pro Bowl. The only appearance of his career.
